On November 6, 2024, at the Pampa Sriramasaketam Hall, a review meeting on Sabarimala pilgrim arrangements was led by the Honorable Minister of Transport. During the meeting, the Transport Department recommended that the online booking for KSRTC services be made available on the official Sabarimala Virtual Queue Booking website. This integration aims to support pilgrims with hassle-free transportation options and significantly improve their travel planning for the Sabarimala pilgrimage.

This new service allows pilgrims to pre-book their journey on KSRTC buses through the same site where they book their virtual queue slots. Bonacaud is known for its breathtaking beauty. Bonacaud was once a majestic tea estate set up by the British right below the Agasthya mountain ranges in Trivandrum. Bonacaud is very close to Ponmudi hills, taking a deviation at the Theviyode Junction, takes you to Bonacaud. The road forward is fairly rough. Be careful as you drive along this winding road because coming across wildlife is a common occurrence. As you go on, you might get to see the Peppara Dam in all its grandeur. Memories of the Nilgiri train journey!

Things disappear without your permission, then come back again without your permission. I just want to pass on some warped memories that came back from my Ooty train journey 10 years back exactly! I can't believe we just passed 10 years after getting married and I was looking back through our old photographs and so many loving memories flooded my mind.
