🌅🌅🌅 Inauguration of Village Bus Service 🌅

The special KSRTC CNG bus service, a part of the Gramavandi project, begins to provide public transportation convenience to areas with limited transportation facilities, including destinations within the scope of local self-governance institutions, rural areas, and sectors contributing to social development. 🌈🌈 Inaugurating the Gramavandi project, jointly initiated by the local self-government institutions and KSRTC, on 16th August 2023 at Sreemoolanagar Grama Panchayath, Angamaly Block. 🌟🌟🌟

The event, graced by the presence of Mr. Anwar Sadath, the MLA of Aluva, will commence with a special function at 9:30 AM near Sreemoolanagar Junction. The Gramavandi service inauguration will be conducted as a part of this event.

🏝️🏝️🏝️ The project envisions resolving transportation challenges in various rural areas, including Thuruthupalam, Chovvara, Sreemoolanagar, Thiruvairanikulam, Sreebhutapuram, and other Grama Panchayath regions. Trophy Boat Race celebration, led by budget tourism cell, KSRTC

As part of the Nehru Trophy Boat Race celebration, the admirers of boat races gathered in great numbers at Alappuzha. Led by the leadership of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation's (KSRTC) Budget Tourism Cell, specially chartered buses and seats for the fans were arranged from Palakkad and Malappuram districts. KSRTC played a pivotal role in bringing Nehru Trophy Vallamkali enthusiasts to witness the event. The Alappuzha Budget Tourism Cell, under the leadership of Sri Bijuprabhakar IAS and Sri Suraj Shaji IAS, the Secretary and C.M.D. of KSRTC respectively, organized a special counter at Alappuzha Depot for the sale of tickets worth a total of 3 lakhs rupees. Tourists from various districts and states converged at this counter, resulting in a successful endeavor. Aruvikkara Dam

Aruvikkara dam in kerala is built across the river Karamana, located 15 km away from Trivandrum. The reservoir and the garden are the prime attraction of the dam. A temple is located adjacent to the Dam which is dedicated to the deity Durga. which is built on a rock. People reach here not only to enjoy the beauty of dam and river but also for having blessings from the goddess. The river is situated in northern Trivandrum which supplies water for the peoples of Trivandrum especially for farming and drinking. There is also a pond can be seen very close to the temple which occupies many fishes, and there is also a beautiful garden which gives a warm welcome for you to enjoy the dam and surroundings.

Bonacaud is known for its breathtaking beauty. Bonacaud was once a majestic tea estate set up by the British right below the Agasthya mountain ranges in Trivandrum. Bonacaud is very close to Ponmudi hills, taking a deviation at the Theviyode Junction, takes you to Bonacaud. The road forward is fairly rough. Be careful as you drive along this winding road because coming across wildlife is a common occurrence. As you go on, you might get to see the Peppara Dam in all its grandeur. Getting a good glimpse however is rare as the area is almost always shrouded in a thick layer of mist. The plush green mountain ranges move past your windows and the buildings in the Bonacaud estate stand grimly in the distance.
