The haunting story – Bonacaud Bungalow!

Bonacaud is known for its breathtaking beauty. Bonacaud was once a majestic tea estate set up by the British right below the Agasthya mountain ranges in Trivandrum. Bonacaud is very close to Ponmudi hills, taking a deviation at the Theviyode Junction, takes you to Bonacaud. The road forward is fairly rough. Be careful as you drive along this winding road because coming across wildlife is a common occurrence. As you go on, you might get to see the Peppara Dam in all its grandeur. Getting a good glimpse however is rare as the area is almost always shrouded in a thick layer of mist. The plush green mountain ranges move past your windows and the buildings in the Bonacaud estate stand grimly in the distance. Things disappear without your permission, then come back again without your permission. I just want to pass on some warped memories that came back from my Ooty train journey 10 years back exactly! I can't believe we just passed 10 years after getting married and I was looking back through our old photographs and so many loving memories flooded my mind. Sabarimala Pilgrims Can Now Book KSRTC Travel Alongside Virtual Queue Booking

In a groundbreaking move for Sabarimala pilgrims, the Travancore Devaswom Board has now integrated KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) booking options within its official virtual queue booking system. This convenient addition aims to make the pilgrimage experience smoother and more accessible for devotees by offering an all-in-one platform for booking both virtual queue slots and travel services. On November 6, 2024, at the Pampa Sriramasaketam Hall, a review meeting on Sabarimala pilgrim arrangements was led by the Honorable Minister of Transport. During the meeting, the Transport Department recommended that the online booking for KSRTC services be made available on the official Sabarimala Virtual Queue Booking website. As part of the Nehru Trophy Boat Race celebration, the admirers of boat races gathered in great numbers at Alappuzha. Led by the leadership of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation's (KSRTC) Budget Tourism Cell, specially chartered buses and seats for the fans were arranged from Palakkad and Malappuram districts. KSRTC played a pivotal role in bringing Nehru Trophy Vallamkali enthusiasts to witness the event. The Alappuzha Budget Tourism Cell, under the leadership of Sri Bijuprabhakar IAS and Sri Suraj Shaji IAS, the Secretary and C.M.D. of KSRTC respectively, organized a special counter at Alappuzha Depot for the sale of tickets worth a total of 3 lakhs rupees.
