Trophy Boat Race celebration, led by budget tourism cell, KSRTC

As part of the Nehru Trophy Boat Race celebration, the admirers of boat races gathered in great numbers at Alappuzha. Led by the leadership of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation's (KSRTC) Budget Tourism Cell, specially chartered buses and seats for the fans were arranged from Palakkad and Malappuram districts. KSRTC played a pivotal role in bringing Nehru Trophy Vallamkali enthusiasts to witness the event. Munnar, Marayoor, Kanthalloor Trip- Journey through the lap of Nature!

Munnar is a place of calm and peace. You will find never-ending tea plantations, hills, pristine valleys, forests, wild waterfalls, rare flora and fauna. I had an incredibly wonderful time in Munnar and it is not just because of its breathtaking landscape but because of the journey happened with my best childhood friend Mr.Shibu who works at Indian Railway. Bonacaud is known for its breathtaking beauty. Bonacaud was once a majestic tea estate set up by the British right below the Agasthya mountain ranges in Trivandrum. Bonacaud is very close to Ponmudi hills, taking a deviation at the Theviyode Junction, takes you to Bonacaud. The road forward is fairly rough. Be careful as you drive along this winding road because coming across wildlife is a common occurrence. As you go on, you might get to see the Peppara Dam in all its grandeur.
